Zone 4&5 Booster Sets

The Boost-A-Break & PENT-A-BOOST Range is designed for the boosting of water in a category 4 & 5 zone.

Break Tank assembly with Fluid Category 5 protection by virtue of the integral Type AB air gap. The unit is supplied as a complete package on a stainless base ready for installation.

The primary purpose is to provide backflow protection in accordance with the new Water Regulations. The BTABV unit also boosts the water pressure for elevated areas or where a high flow rate is required e.g. wash-down. The relatively large 24 litre pressure vessel allows about 5 litres of water to be supplied without switching the pump on.

There is a choice of four pump sizes 500 W, 700 W, 900 W & 1200 W. The pump starts automatically when the pressure drops to that selected on the adjustable pressure switch. The cistern has a screened overflow and weir, making it suitable for unorthodox drinking (wholesome) water applications, which require a Hygienic type AB air gap e.g. dental spittoons & food preparation (G16.13 was Byelaw 30).
